If you don't see any reviews here, then you should just Google it.
Lots of opinions and discussions are available online.
That's what Google and the internet is for ......

Re: Audiolab pre power amp
There are times when nobody responds to the thread and that's when Google comes it.
One has to be resourceful as well. One can ask for help but should always be able to look elsewhere when help doesn't arrive.
In Mohd Fairuz case, no one has given him any reviews so far and it may not be any from this forum. Neither do I have any experience with Audiolab equipment. So the best I could do is to suggest to him GOOGLE.
It would be nice if someone could give Fairuz a hand. Anyone .......?

Re: Audiolab pre power amp
I would advise that you check the internal parts carefully as I am assuming you are refering to the Made In England (MIE) 8000C+P. These models are very old by today's standards. There are also Made In China (MIC) Audiolab with the same 8000 series. Some say the sound signature of MIE was better than MIC but honestly I prefer MIC with its better quality cap and resistors. The MIC betters the MIE in terms of quality as it addressed the MIE's shortcomings. Despite saying that, both have aged through time and I'm glad mine still stand through times and I hope many more years to come.muhd fairuz wrote:can anyone review about Audiolab pre 8000c combine with 8000p power amp?
One thing about about 8000C or S or A...is its flexibility to mix match with other power amp or monoblock. Its sonic sound may not be to everyone taste but at its cheap values today...I don't think you can go wrong to step up in your next audio journey.

Re: Audiolab pre power amp
Since you have 8000A already, add in 8000P to it. You have Pre In and Pre Out behind the amp...use it to connect them. I can sure it will bring better dynamic and sound stage. It is like opening up another layer of horizon...
