The TX-SR506 boasts seven channels of high-current power, plenty of surround decoding options, and rock-solid Onkyo construction. Three 1080p-compatible HDMI inputs let you hook up your high-definition video components and switch easily among them. Sophisticated auto speaker setup analyzes your system's sound from two different listening positions in your room and calibrates the receiver for more precise home theater sound. Dual-room/dual-source audio lets a housemate listen to stereo music in a second room while you enjoy home theater in your main room. You can also listen to music stored on your iPod:registered: when you add Onkyo's optional dock.
