The AE100s have been designed to achieve high sound-pressure levels from a small enclosure. The AE engineering team claims to have achieved this, thanks chiefly to three key technologies: a 10cm mid-bass driver built around a long-throw motor system, a rear slot port for enhancing bass and a 28mm soft dome tweeter featuring the company’s Wide Dispersion Technology.

The Acoustic Energy AE100 is a compact, two way standmount loudspeaker that joins the ranks of affordable models looking to become your choice in both a stereo or multichannel context. AE100 draws on a little bit of Acoustic Energy’s own history for inspiration. The original AE100 from 1990s and the larger AE109 floorstander were pretty much the speakers that put Acoustic Energy on the map as far as affordable speakers went.

Some minor dent on the base of the speaker (one side) and minor torn speaker cover cloth at edges due to house moving session but these does not affect the performance of the speaker or the sound quality.
