In acknowledgement of the unique legacy of Andrea Palladio, Sonus faber has decided to create  Sonus faber Olympica, a sincere homage to the Olympic Theatre, temple of geometric pleasure in the voice of Music, the container in which sound seamlessly expands and an accurate reference model of acoustic enhancement.

3 way floorstanding, paralaminar stealth flow vented loudspeaker.
 
The leather topped and leather fronted design, with the Sonus faber name stamped into the black hide, starts the process. The subtle chrome ring around this leather-bound top follows suit, the panelled wood finish (reminiscent of that other great Italian classic, the Riva Aquarama runabout) and the elegant black spaghetti grill adds to the appeal, and the top to bottom side-venting chrome plate tops it off.
 
The fact the Olympica II uses two different sizes of spike (which look more like armour-piecing shells than normal speaker spikes) allowing a gentle back tilt makes the loudspeaker a truly desirable floorstanding design, one that is just as likely to make it to the pages of an interior design magazine as a hi-fi magazine.
 
The wood undergoes a long aging phase before reaching the final stability and being used for the cabinet construction of our high-end loudspeaker as it happens for the musical instruments creation.

All the leather sections are really good.
 
Just a 2 small tiny dent on the upper rear part of the speaker (one side) due to home shifting session, but not visible at all when placed the speakers at the listening position.
 
Comes with original spikes, manual, original wrapping cloth, front specially designed grille cover but no box due to space consuming large box from SF.
 
Price: Sold (negotiable for serious buyers) worth almost 60k when brand new.
