Push button at Balanced XLR input

Hi sifus,
Any difference if the 'push' button of Balanced XLR are at different sides, which is the most convenient and common?
Notice most of the 'push' button at Balanced XLR input of amplifier are on top, but some units the 'push' buttons are at the bottom side, like Krell KAV-400xi.
