Reliable Repairman Empty Reliable Repairman

Post by wingman Tue Aug 11, 2009 6:32 am

AM a newbie in this forum. Could any one of you point me to a reliable shop that's able to repair " CD Player".

1. Kenwood - skip tracks
2. NAD 502 - plays a few songs and stops

What could be the possible cause or the cost ?

Thank you in advance

Reliable Repairman Empty Re: Reliable Repairman

I've known Mr Oh since many yrs back (since his days as hi fi & diy kaki b4 being full time repairman) He is knowledgeable & hv a keen interest in electronics BUT most importantly he's honest of the repairs & charges accordingly. He will do a proper job & hates modified circuits which had been unsuccessfully repaired by others. However, u must be patient as the workload is very much heavier nowadays unless u got special 'membership' then yr item will get priority.

Better to call & get an estimation of the cost as the repairs might not be cost effective compared to the intrinsic value of the item.

Just my opinion as a friend & satisfied customer....

Tumpang your post. Does Mr Oh know how to repair Velodyne subwoofer? I have a SPL-800i sub with no power...

MBL.....

Worth to give a call to Mr Oh and you won't have any regrets, compared to giving your cherished Audio equipment to some un-familiar hands.

I can vouch for his capabilities, disposition and fairness.

( Chenht and Boxer, thanks once again for the introduction)

cheers

Have spoken via phone to Mr. Oh and noticed his enthusiasm n professionalism in electronics. By the way does anyone knows any reliable repairman around Ipoh?

HangLeng....

Try a walk around at the Ipoh Flea Market, you definetly come across a few guys selling Audio stuff. Have a chat and they might point you in the right direction.

Worth the shot.

And of course the forummers here as well.

cheers
