Von Schweikert owner thread

Hi there,

Like to know any Von Schweikert owner out there care to share their speaker.

How good is this speaker & which model you are using.

Also what source, system & cable to match the speaker.

i am using the VR1, wonderful pair of mini monitors,

using Classic 60 and SP 9 to drive the bugger, sounds almost perfect, but still missing the low ends.

how come suddenly ask about Von Schweikert? went to listen to the VR11 in singapore is it?

I was at one of my friend's house in Singapore two months ago who used VR4-SR & was very impressed with the sound of this speaker.
Didn't have a change to listen to VS speaker when they are at KLAV show.
Like to know more from other brothers/sister out there about other model of this speaker.
Don't think can afford for the giant VR11 which is so tall in size.

Own a pair of VR1, unfortunately doing bedroom AV duties but you can't help noticing the excellent sounds during movie passages or soundtrack when it really STOOD OUT in the audiophilic kind of way. You get what I mean..

The previous owner occasionally would pm-ed me just in case I want to let it go .. Sorry bro ..

Had the pleasure of auditioning the VR33 courtesy of Daniel Tan, local rep for VR based in Ipoh. Almost fell for it before the Maggie twins seduced me ...

An amazing feature I suppose (apart from the fantastic sound) is that the speakers can be placed very close to the wall/room boundaries.. Helps a lot with the speaker
