PHILIPS CD 460 CD PLAYER CDM-2/10 TRANSPORT , TDA1541 – SAA7220P/A  DAC

In good working order including all fascia buttons, display and disc drawer backlight.

Very good, highly regarded CD player with a classic swing arm laser unit and highly respected TDA1541 – SAA7220P/A  Digital to Analogue conversion. However, the player has a coaxial digital output so that you can take advantage of the mechanism as a transport and link it to an off board DAC (digital to analogue converter) or a digital amplifier if you wish. 

Very well reviewed at the time they appeared and still sounds good today: warm, very detailed, good stereo imaging and dynamics. Good balanced sound which won't sound out of place in any good system. Loads of positive reviews and discussion of this machine on the forums.

GOOD CONDITION: fascia unmarked except for cleaning marks on display window, marks on top of case and fascia top.

Has recall and program as well as search and skip forward/back, pause, play and stop. A nice touch is the 2 timer display.

A good example for NOS mods and plenty of space for Lampizator
