Distributor For Trichord Products
I would like to know who is the distributor for Trichord products. From the review below MILLENIUM HI-FI & AV is the distributor. However, the phone cannot be reached. I think they have moved.

If its small item, order from Trichord UK direct. Of course taxes may apply and bear shipping charges. They have an online shop page and prices to Malaysia exclude UK VAT tax. Good luck!

Yes, I have noted on the facility of buying direct from Trichord UK. For components I would rather buy locally if there is a dealer here since bigger items would have high risk of getting taxed by the customs. If cables I am not all that worried. Thanks.

I believe that dealer is not making any presence to end users here since I've heard virtually nothing about them for quite sometime. The last time I saw them was at KLAV show 3 years ago and thats the last of it. I suppose you've to deal direct or through online dealers for Trichord products, thats about it.

Thanks. If I ever get serious I'll seek my cousin's help who is based in the UK. The current exchange rate of 5.72 is little high now though.

If your cousin is staying in UK, he'll be subjected to VAT just like any other local customer, then your cousin's effort to ship it out or bring back. Then the hassle of claiming back VAT. Do factor in these issues that you may not realize. If me, and I can afford or willing to take the risk, I order online mostly, cut all the crap and hassle.ryder wrote:Thanks. I recently bought a number of valuable Linn LP12 new and used parts for my full restoration work, from various sellers on Ebay and all were promptly shipped in. Though not entirely on the cheap but I've NO choice but to buy them from there and then.
Got money...BUY..don't wait and regret later on.

I don't know where did the crap and hassle comment came about. Not withstanding high shipping charges and tax, taking a risk is already a hassle especially if the items got stuck in the airport customs. It is good to note that you order online mostly as I would never purchase any electronics online other than small items.

Re: Distributor For Trichord Products
I did once enquired an item from that company. Their asking price was way higher citing all sorts of reasons. That's crap. The hassle is going round town, across the causeway down south or wherever to look for the item. In the end, buy from online (prepared to loss at worst) was the next best option to save and delivered to my doorstep.
