Lowther Speakers
Hello,
I currently am interested to purchase one of these beautiful Lowther speaker drivers but I don't really understand the difference in their current offering.
The speaker drivers that I am most interested is the EX4, DX4, PM7A and PM6A. From their website what I could find was the difference in magnets between the Alnico, Ferrite and the Neodymium. Besides this, all the technical specs are gibberish to me.
May all the sifus and gurus care to explain whats the difference between these models. These are the one within my price range.
Thank you.

Re: Lowther Speakers
Hello syamimr,
I suspect you're refering to the T/S technical parameter. A good explanation on what it means can be found here..

Any reason why you opt for Lowther drivers?

Re: Lowther Speakers
I actually have a pair of PM6 which is quite old, I've contacted lowther and it seems they have a trade package and these speakers have almost the same price with mine just have to add some, so I was thinking if it would be wise to do that.

Re: Lowther Speakers
From my limited experiences, the PM7A is a better driver than the PM6A. The later and newer EX4 and DX4 introduced by Lowther might be even better. However, I personnally has not listen to them yet, hence, will not able
