compare the color of the jacket to the original. And usually the fake sounds crappy. always ask for a demo to be sure.

vdH pun ada fake punya?
Wow.. That's a bit risky..
Bro hushymushy,
I think it is better to check the labeling on the cable, the box, the RCA plugs and also the sound to be sure that they are genuine.
What's the price for this cable?

Sometimes, if that particular VdH interconnect doesn't sound up to expectations, it doesn't mean it's fake, in the case of non-factory terminated interconnects.
If I remember correctly, the factory-terminated ones have the ground wire delibrately open-ended (ie. not connected) on one side of the RCA connector. If they are non-factory terminated, chances are the ground wire is soldered on both ends, as you would be inclined to do so under normal circumstances.

VDH D300 MkIII
I have these cables (not factory terminated). Bass is deep but to me the mid range sounded thin. For about the same price, I preferred the DH Lab silver sonic with their speaker cable Q10 (more detail, transparent, better bass control and also very fast).
