Top-operation CD Master Incorporating a Wide Variety of High-quality Sound Technologies Such as Class AA Circuitry. Employing Technics' unique Class AA system for its audio circuitry, the SL-P1200 achieved stable transmission and amplification characteristics. The pickup section included an FF-1 laser pickup, which greatly improved signal detection capability. Reliability and durability were improved by using a brushless DD motor for the spindle motor. The unit also had measures implemented to thoroughly eliminate resonance and vibration. For example, a layer-constructed base reduced the effects of vibration due to sound pressure, and a double-insulator system isolated the unit from floor vibration. In order to eliminate noise interference between circuits, the audio circuitry section was placed on an independent circuit board, including a power supply section, thereby forming a block structure. In addition, other functions for operation convenience included a two-speed search dial, nine-digit FL multi-function display, and music matrix display.
