Telefunken EC88 tube (NOS) SOLD

Single piece of Telefunken EC88. Single triode driver tube for 2A3 amp.Made In Germany. Diamond bottom < > with original Telefunken box.

Original sealed Box. I accidentally break the plastic cover on the top of the box.

Condition 9.5/10. Box is excellent condition.Tube is never used and opened.(Can test the tube for you if you want but the tube will Sold "As Is")

6922/ECC88 are alternatives to the 6DJ8 or 6N1 the Yaqin single tube buffer not for Yaqin 6J1 twin tube buffer. Yaqin 6J1 twin tube buffer alternative tube is 6AK5 / EF95 / 5654 /CV4100s(mullard).

The best tube I had test for Yaqin 6J1 twin tube is GE Jan 5654W, second is Mullard CV4100 (very smooth but less punchy). I don't know about telefunken for 6J1, but telefunken among the best for tube preamp.

Ya.Telefunken is the best among the preamp but i personally like the siemens as preamp over the telefunken.. I'm using Siemens PCC88 as preamp.Sound very resolution,punchy bass,natural. but the high not as extended than the telefunken.
