Have any of you guys had experience with this set? What do you think of it?
Re: Nakamichi IA-3 integrated amp
Wow, I found Niro Nakamichi's current web site - http://us.niro1.com/aboutus2.php
Check out the insane prices on the Stereo Engine 1000 (150W x 2ch A/B Class Stereo Power Amplifier), US$23,000!!

Nakamichi IA-2
I have not hear the IA-3 before but a friend of mine used to own an IA-2. Not bad really for about RM2,400 then. Transparent with quite good phono stage.

Good, clean sound. Tested this back to back with an Audiolab 8000S,
Marantz SA7001KI player and Bose 301 speakers were used. The Nakamichi
seems to be more lively, more complete. Right amount of bass, midrange
and highs.
To three of us (2x30yrs old and 1x32yrs old) listening to the IA-3, including the Audiolab's
owner, the 8000S seemed to be all midrange and had hollow vocals
compared to the IA-3.
