Im back working in ipoh alread..there is...hifi friends not really can catch up in 1.5 years there...different scenario in penang maybe because of busy placed... Cool

seems like not many hifi kaki here in penang..

Penang a lot of hifi kaki but most of the islander is so busy with work load Twisted Evil

Wah! IIsaw and oracle are a big fans of Audio Physic! Both Scorpio 25 and Virgo 25 are indeed impressives..how i wish if i can afford a pair... Crying or Very sad

There is a new one coming up in Tanjung Tokong; Audio Alchemy. Actually, it is a branch. Its main showroom is in PJ (near Amcorp Mall), which is undergoing renovation too.

Place is still under renovation but some of the items are already in. Calvin is the p.i.c. If you want to kacau a bit, I think he wouldn't mind. PM me if you need the contact number.

Hifi scene quiet in penang is bad news as many youngsters are not exposed to good hifi systems.i see many with headphones and smart phones only.we should start some hifi competition where hifi compete with hifi to start interest in them to own a system.

Hi jack nice know you! One interesting fact I found out re ently was hifi items in the 80ties and 90tiee sounded better than now..whats your opinion

Hifi is a veryy subjective hobby...one's favourites will not be other's fav. You know what I mean. Even until now the debate between analogue and digital still going on. It depends on personal taste. Compare this hobby with photog for example. If u own a full frame camera then you are in different league already. But hifi is soo subjective that if u own a high end also will not guarantee it will satisfy everyone.

That's interesting. There is a huge market for vintage gear for their great sound quality but I think today's gears are so much better or par to those legacy units at fraction of its price.

The future sound designers are today's MP3 listeners and I dread to think how their products going to sound like.
