Replacing the 5 star rated CD5003, the Marantz CD5004 carries on the fine audiophile traditions using components and designs taken from Marantz's higher end Reference series.

The CD5004 features the renowned Cirrus Logic (CS4392) digital to analogue converter for a clean reproduction of your tracks. There's also Marantz's Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Module (HDAM) at critical analogue circuit junctions to insure smooth and ultra-fast signal transfer from one stage to another.

The player also supports CD-R and CD-RW discs and will play MP3 and WMA (Windows Media Audio) files - perfect for playing the music from your computer. It even has a variable pitch control for fine adjustment of the playback speed. Plus, for the purists, the digital output, display and pitch control circuitry can be disabled for a clean and unfettered delivery.

With a smart aluminium/glass-reinforced resin hybrid front panel, the '5004 looks the part too. If you're looking for a high quality, yet affordable CD player, the Marantz 5004 is a great choice.
