Rotel RQ-970BX Phono Stage.

I have a Rotel pre pre amplifier. It is a fairly decent performer. For its price, it has quite good bass performance. Its midrange is clean and lucid. The treble end is clear but not very extended. Overall presentation is musical with a good wallop in the lower frequency. For the money it does not deserve to be this good. My Rotel was bettered by increasing the gain. It sounds quite sweet. The built quality is exceptional for the money. It is switchable for MM or MC. So it is versatile. Highly recommended. Stereophile Class "C" component.
