The microphone has a K47 capsule and it performs perfectly and flawlessly, condition 7.5/10. I have thoroughly auditioned it through my Studer 961 console, including the "breath test" to make sure that the capsule is performing normally. It passes the "breath test" perfectly, has excellent gain, low noise and packs the kind of midrange authority with male vocals or string instruments that is legendary - it is truly the king of mics.

It comes in the rare original velvet-lined wooden case, and a new stabilized power supply made specifically for U47s with the VF14 tube by German restoration specialist Peter Drefahl. A connecting cable and a German power cord complete the outfit.
