Naim Chrome Bumper Series.An Extremely Musical Device.
Nac42/Nac110 Shoe Box sized combo,good cosmetic and outlook with leads and cables. "0 Defect " it has been partly used to drive the actived DMS for a while.

verdict:
I have auditioned the Naim`s top level setup comprises of
Nac552/552ps + Nap500 to an earlier macho- Nac42/Nac110 series myself . But this is a very unfair comparison. And i could tell you for sure, grab the 42/110 save the $$ for a pair of good speakers,this is the step you have to execute it correctly.Very important otherwise keep yourself far far away from playing in a Naimise playground...not only you did not achieve your goal and you will easily confuse and start to blaming without knowing the root cause.

Naim amps are preferring to work with "non ported" speakers like Sara,kan ,kef104ab,sbl etc If ONLY you would asking about sheer timing.
