Schiit Valhalla Headphone Amp (SOLD) - Price Lowered

Hi all,

It is with great sadness that I'm putting up for sale my Schiit Valhalla Class-A OTL headphone amp.

This is one of the renowned Schiit headphone amps which has been getting rave reviews from users worldwide. I bought the unit direct from Schiit USA and has been in use for less than 6 months.

Why sell it if I love it so much? Well, I've moved on to orthodynamic headphones, which are not adequately powered by OTL amps. The Valhalla is more suitable for high impedance headphones where large voltage swings are required. For example, Sennheiser headphones like the HD600/650 or even the Beyerdynamic 250-600 Ohms range. Since I can no longer fully utilise the amp, it's best to let it go to someone who can enjoy it in its element.

From the Schiit website, the Valhalla is described as a Single-Ended Triode Output Transformerless (OTL) headphone amplifier. It uses a fully tubed amplification set-up with a pair of 6N1Ps as the pre-amp stage with another pair of 6N6Ps for the power tubes.
