The reason some potential buyers ask for photos of the actual item is to confirm the condition of the item, especially used items.
The onus is on the seller to produce the actual photos. Some buyers are actually from out of state and do not want to waste either parties' time and effort to make the transaction only to find out that the actual condition of the item is not as expected.
A good seller always show photos of the actual item.
As the saying goes "a picture is worth a thousand words".

It is almost like NEW,fussy buyers often miss good deal in the end. Pls let go !

it's a courtesy to post photos of the item you're selling no matter the condition. u would expect the same if it were u... atleast i am of the same opinion as sph
