The a70.2 is Music Hall's most powerful integrated amplifier to date. Delivering 125-watts-per-channel at 8 ohms and 180-watts-per-channel at 4 ohms, it impresses with its brawn, yet wows with its delicacy. Geared primarily toward the music lover with a two channel audio system, the a70.2 includes a direct AV input (home theater bypass), for those that want to use the amplifier section of the a70.2 to power the front channels in a home theater set-up. The a70.2's engulfing soundstage and engaging sonic character are the direct result of brilliant circuit design and careful attention placed on the critical elements for accurate and musical sound reproduction while eliminating all unnecessary bits.

Built-in Phono Stage

Got a lot of LPs or just starting to collect? Vinyl fans will rejoice over the exceptional built-in MM moving-magnet phono stage. The low distortion, highly accurate TI PGA 2311 digitally controlled analog volume control brings out the best in your turntable and any other source component. The ultra quiet preamp section has gold plated inputs for CD, Tuner, and Aux, an XLR input, plus a front-panel iPod mini-plug input. Included are two high-qrade, no-short speaker binding posts for A, B, or A + B speaker selection. There's also a quality headphone stage for enjoyable private listening and a preamp out.

Dual Mono Design

The a70.2 uses an audiophile dual mono design with two massive torroidal power transformers – one for each channel – for on-demand power and low noise. Other features include special vibration damping feet, a high-quality detachable AC cable, and easily readable and dimmable vacuum fluorescent display, a gorgeous slim line system remote control, and a thick, brushed aluminum fascia. Constructed using the finest parts and hand assembled, the a70.2 is the ideal component around which to build a stunning audio system.
