This is the legendary Boothroyd Stuart Meridian High-End 206 CD player
 
Meridian 206 has the CDM4 transport (metal everywhere) that almost won't die. The laser is still very strong with no problem reading CD-R's. The DAC chip is the famous TDA1541 S1 (Single crown grade) and many people say this chip produces the sweetest vocals. 206 can also be used as a fabulous CD transportThis unit is in great cosmetic and working condition,
 
I am listening to it as we speak and it has that air, blackness and expression that you would expect a 2000 dollar player, in 1989 dollars, to have.
 
It has a super beefy clean powersupply, like nothing i have seen today. The finish is awesome with big greenish yellow digital display (so cool)
 
Very powerful bass, crisp highs, and a wide midrange. So much power and "oomph" behind the music. This is a badass player from 1989 i believe and according to some, the best player that Meridian made. better than 5 series and 8 series.
