Description
The Arcam Alpha 8 is an integrated amplifier that can deliver 50 Watts with 8 ohms.
An integrated amplifier means that the machine contains two distinct parts—the preamplifier and the power amplifier.
 
In some cases, these two parts are separate. This Arcam amp can be used with a wide variety of speakers.
 
The Arcam Alpha 8 has a preamp output and a microphone input.
 
The phono cartridge input has a signal-to-noise ratio of 77 dB, and it has an input sensitivity of 3.0 mV.
 It also has an input impedance of 47 ohms. The line and tape inputs on this Arcam amp have an input sensitivity of 275 mV and an input impendence of 15k ohms.
 
Users can adjust the bass, balance, treble, volume, and more with the control knobs located on the front of the unit. The Arcam Alpha 8 Phono Integrated Amplifier is lightweight,
 
weighing in at only 4.5 kg.
