As the name and price suggest, this is an entry level hifi speaker system ......... but don't be misled, this is every inch a hifi loudspeaker.  

If you think of yourself as a casual music lover rather than a serious audiophile, someone who enjoys music reproduced well for relaxation without going to the enormous expense of raising the roof with the very best in serious hifi, then these speakers may well be for you.

The bass performance is honest - solid, not boomy, and very musical; the soundstage is convincing, backed up by an open mid range and treble.

The speakers are quite fast according to Naim tradition and have good transient response which leads to exciting music and excellent percussion performance.  While still retaining good detail, there is a warmth and fluidity about these speakers which endears them to you. As befits an entry level system, they are also happy to play through relatively low powered amps, although they will reward a decent quality amp and front-end.

This is a fantastic stereo speaker which punches well above its weight for clarity, power and timing. The detail is exceptional - they need a quality amplifier and source to get the best from them - although are not difficult speakers to drive.
