Thorens TD125 Mk II - Rare & Collectors' item - SOLD!

On sale here is one of Thorens' legendary turntables that was the "first" in its time in having an electronic oscillator control board (Weinbridge) to lock on the mains frequency for stablization of turntable speed.  Unheard of at that time, the introduction of this electronic wizardry (fore-runner to Linn's Valhalla Board), revolutionized the speed accuracy of belt driven turntables.  The Thorens TD125 is one of the turntables that has attracted a large following, and is still in demand today by vinyl cognoscenti.  The current sample, in the Mk II form, improved upon the stock TD125 in terms of motor noise, speed stability and performance.

I have two of these collectors' item, and am letting go one unit with one blank armboard for enthusiasts to mount their own choice of tonearms.  If desired, the TD125 Mk II can be offered with (1) original Thorens TP16 tonearm, (2) a Linn LVX tonearm, or (3) Grace G707 tonearm at the following asking prices:

The Turntable is in good condition, hardly any scratches, mirror-polished platter, fully functioning strobe, and is retro-fitted with a new lid.
