The only way I can describe them is "melt in your mouth".
Coherent, detailed, flawless imaging, and smooth as butter.
They are not rock speakers. They won't take a lot of power and they don't go very deep.
But within their operational limits, they are gorgeous.
Only caveat is that tweeters are getting mighty scarce. I think this was their last line of "good" speakers before they started making Cerwin-Vegas.



I was primarily drawn to the airy and detailed sound of the EMIT ribbon tweeter, and thought the polypropylene woofer cones made more life-like drum sounds than other comparable speakers with paper cones. I remember them having an overall sound similar to that of a small panel/electrostatic speaker.
