TW-Acustic 0.5 Turntable:

TW-Acustic has developed the Raven 0.5 in response to requests for an affordable way into Raven ownership.

The frame and platter are crafted from the same tried and tested Delrin that is used in their top models; on the Raven 0.5 the frame and platter are each 30 mm thick. The platter revolves on an inverted bearing with a 10 mm diameter shaft.

The basic frame shape is similar to the Raven One. Platter drive is provided by the same three-phase DC motor as for Raven One. The Raven 0.5 can accommodate tonearms of up to 10 inch length

In this Raven 0.5 that is offered for sale, a brass arm mount had been machined to fit Rega RB250 tonearm or similar arm of length 222 mm. The Origin Live Encounter Mk3C tonearm that is packaged with this turntable has an arm length of 222 mm. The brass mount can be replaced with other mount to suit the intended tonearm lengths.
