Golden Sound GSA-1 HDMI coupler, repeater (4K, 60p, HDR)



It helps resolve issues related running a HDMI video signal much further than it's designed to be sent.
It regenerates and restores the signal that has deteriorated due to a long cable run.

E.g. 4K bd player might not be able to send video signal over a 7-8m cable to a display.

HDMI signals are not designed to be sent too long distance without some type of active electronics that help the signal get from point A to B

Unlike analogue signals, that slowly deteriorates over a long cable length, digital signals are 1s and 0s, they either work or they dont.

This coupler can be used in 2 applications:
- It can be used for source devices that has weak HDMI drivers and not designed to send a video signal long distances.
- Secondly, on display devices that dont have reclocking and equalization circuitries on their inputs.
Compatible with latest HDMI standard (4K video at 60 Hz, 2160p, 48-bit/px color depth); supports bandwidth up to 18Gbps; backwards compatible with earlier versions
