Linn Kudos AM/FM Tuner
The Kudos FMTuner provides a standard of performance close to Linn’s top-of the-range tuner, the Kremlin, already acclaimed as one of the world’s best tuners. Yet, at a fraction of the price, the Kudos represents astounding value for money.

The Kudos Tuner is a high-fidelity FM and AM Tuner.
the Kudos can integrate into existing systems,
alongside other separate hi-fi components.

The extremely high performance and sound quality that characterises the Kudos Tuner is
also matched by its ease of operation and use.
The Kudos can be manually controlled via the front panel or by an infra-red hand-held remote
control.

To make the Kudos easy to operate and use, there are 50 user-definable pre-set tunings for
FM and AM broadcasts. The variable Threshold Sensitivity Function enables the Kudos to
tune into even the weakest signals and the Strength Signal Display shows the quality of
broadcast signals once received and processed by the Kudos.
The Kudos Tuner is designed to delight and astound listeners by its superb performance and
value for money.

User Review for reference:

Linn Kudos and i have to say I m very impressed with the overall sound quality, which i would compare to near CD. what impresses me the most is the bass this tuner can re-create, it gets pretty low while not sounding tubby.
I actually think it has a cleaner and fuller/richer sound than my Magnum Dynalab FT101A.
It also does a good job of pulling in distant stations.
At $1800 they are not cheap but if you use a tuner a lot like i do than its definitely worth listening to.
Apparently this tuner will now be replaced by a cheaper version called the Peking at about $1000

I didn't want to pay this much for a tuner ($1800) but I got to a stage in my life where I wanted quality hi-fi. This Linn Kudos tuner is flat out like listening to a cd. Nice clear highs, acurate midrange and surprisingly tight low bass. The FM noise? well, there isn't any, thats why I often think there is a cd playing. This is a high quality tuner that may be hard to find new in the USA now. I recently heard Linn is sending the US a cheaper ($1000) tuner called the Pekin and discontinuing the Kudos here
