A top grade amp built like a tank, competes with Levinson and Krell. A very articulate and sweet sounding amp and sounds tube like without the bloat. Input stage is high gain and can run with a passive preamp. This has been our Reference amp for many years. I  selling it due to downgraded to Krell & ML power-Amp(in terms of energy efficiencies).

What can I say? That mid-90's  gear is like apartments in Damansara -- you practically have to wait for someone to die before it's available!

Strength:

Soundstage, power, refinement, tube like mid range, transistor speed and great dynamics all in one. Never too harsh after long listening. LISTEN TO BELIEVE. The sound of the sa100 is great. Slightly warm, yet clear and detailed with good bass control and speed.Tube-like quality of presentation of the music. Warmth and transparency abound,There is no need to talk about SA-100 . . .
It´s simply THE HI-End . . .with all respect to Krell , Mark Levinson , Jeff Roland & others . . .Plinius is amplifier to die for .

Weakness:

Depends on whether there is a weak chain in your other components.

I respect all other high end brands. I must say that this amp is a wonder to listen to. For the price you pay, you get double the performance. All frequencies so well tuned and produce. Get a neutral preamp and this amp will tell you the truth in listening.
