Furutech GTX-D Gold Duplex AC Receptacle (Used) SOLD Empty Furutech GTX-D Gold Duplex AC Receptacle (Used) SOLD

Post by mikey8811 Sun Sep 16, 2018 11:40 pm

Furutech GTX-D Gold Duplex AC Receptacle

Condition: Mint with slight scratch, 6 months old (8/10) (with original packaging and literature)

Price: RM SOLD

Reason for Sale:

System configuration changed and no longer needed.

This is a great AC outlet for solid state and digital equipment and/or setups that are neutral or run on the cool side of neutral. I had it custom fitted to a carbon fibre wall plate that fits a Malaysian wall socket size. You only need to remove the generic Malaysian white wall outlet - connect, plug and play, without much hassle. The original Furutech carbon fibre wall plates are too large for the Malaysian socket size.

The Pure Transmission Mission

A very Furutech power product, manifesting a devotion to best performance in every element of AC and signal transfer Considering that what you actually hear is in a very real sense the direct product of the incoming AC then the final few feet are of prime importance for best performance.

Of course everyone would love to make pure-copper receptacles, but its malleability – lack of stiffness – makes pure copper a poor choice. That’s why you’ll find less conductive metals like beryllium copper, phosphor bronze or brass in some receptacles. Furutech’s intense engineering scrutiny has resulted in an industry-first, a technique allowing us to use special Furutech 24k gold- or rhodium-plated α (Alpha) pure copper conductors strengthened and sprung by our innovative nonmagnetic Stainless Steel Conductor Spring System that keeps a firm grip yet won’t damage male connector blades or their plated surfaces. Even the screw-down pressure plates are curved to maximize contact area. The GTX receptacle can be summed up in a word; virtuoso!
Feel, experience and communicate with music and sound!

Reviews:

Enjoy The Music

"the staggering amount of previously-unheard resolution, clarity, and dynamics will likely be startling to the listener. All that extra information and energy is delivered in a defined, controlled way, without various sound bites getting out of control and ragged as can happen with lesser outlets. Bass is not overblown or obscuring; instead, it is tight, defined, and extended with energetic dynamic punch. Tiny sounds from various nooks of soundstage come alive with crystalline and pure delivery while instrument positioning, layering, and depth become effortlessly obvious."

"GTX-D delivers a gorgeous, tasteful, 3-dimensional solidity in the all-important midrange without going overboard with overly round and thick presentation. This outlet is not held back by a overly "balanced" but boring presentation with polite, reticent midrange presence, either. The voices have superb reach into the room and soundstage, vivid and forward enough to be engaging while not overcooked, especially in the sibilance and presence region."

Stereophile

"I have gained the sense that my system is quieter: Sudden stops in music are sometimes almost enough to knock me off my seat. In addition, bass kicks in rock music seem to have a rounder, fuller, and more controlled wallop. I like that. Mostly, I like feeling secure about my AC receptacles. If anything, I’m now embarrassed by how good they are."
