Model: The Absolute Tune integrated amplifier.
Pre-amplifier: Class A using 4 units of 6922 tubes (original Jan Philips).
Power amplifier: Solid state using Circlotron technology, similar to OTL in Tube amplifier.
100% German designed and German made.
Overall: dual mono design, everything in the design optimized for sound quality. Beautiful (not at all German looking) design and heavy (about 25kg)
Condition: 8.5/10 due to age, Mint condition, low usage, complete set with remote, manual (personally signed by owner) original Einstein Power Chord (as good as many dedicated power cords) and original military style wooden box. Never repaired. A matched quad of Russian reflektor NOS tubes are currently in use. Original Jan-Philips will be given as spare.
Age: 8 years.This model is no longer in production. Original retail price was Euro 8k/USD10.2k.My unit was imported through Singapore.
Sound: Transparent, dynamic, life-like and etched sound-stage. Powerful, although rated at 50W this sounds more powerful than my Accuphase rated at 110W!
What is not good? No phono stage, no stand-by button, need warm up (min 15 min) before it sounds good.
Price: RM 14k for audition deal in Kuantan (audition all you like at my humble home) or purchase without audition.
