The UK Celestion Company accomplished many milestones in their heydays, contributing many innovations to the art of speaker design. On sale here is an example of the products that caused quite a sensation in the British audio industry - the Celestion SL600 which is a
vastly improved version of the original Celestion SL6. Structural integrity of the speaker cabinet was by use of the expensive Aerolum (used in the aerospace industry for stiffness to weight ratio) cabinets to minimize resonances in speaker boxes thus minimizing colorations to the reproduced sound.
