So i obtained these speakers just before the 1st (full) mco, thinking i would have time to occupy myself with re-building these. They came with wrong crossover parts, and one original Caboneau woofer needing voice coil repair. These speakers are legendary, and you need to know about Fried and how difficult it is to obtain a pair. Please see the thread above in hifihaven.org  for more information regarding the changing parts and crossovers as the speaker evolved in time.  

I went ahead and ordered the Silver Fluke wool woofers (link above) from madisound USA. I also have most of the parts for the crossover, only missing an inductor, one for each  speaker crossover. 

I am bundling the speakers (with the original  Caboneau woofer, one side needing servicing) plus the new silver fluke woofers (still in box), and few crossover parts  for RM. Please note that the tweeters  in this speaker is the legendary Hiquphon OW2, new costing USD a pair and frequently sold out, acclaimed as one of the best 3/4 inch tweeters available. 

So this  is an opportunity for someone handy with a soldering iron to re-do the crossover, and obtain a fantastic speaker. Or take out the tweeters and use them elsewhere in another project (tweeters  will NOT  be sold separately). 

As it turned out, i did not have the time dedicated to this project,  and this sale is reluctant, due to the tweeter and the solid  construction of the unusually shaped trapezoid speaker cabinet.
