Re: REvox B225 Bastler (Used)
"Audio industry salesman have been promoting faster than optimal sample rates. The promotion of such ideas is based on the fallacy that faster rates yield more accuracy and/or more detail. Weather motivated by profit or ignorance, the promoters, leading the industry in the wrong direction, are stating the opposite of what is true."

PoorMan Struder A725 (Revox B225) With dual tda1540 (seram mic)
If you want to count the classic DAC chips, we can list many, such as TDA1540, TDA1541, PCM63, PCM1704, etc., but TDA1540 is the most special existence among the crowd, and its unique charm makes this one born. Chips that have been decades old are still active among many enthusiasts, and their status is comparable to LS 3/5A speakers, and their experience is somewhat similar to 3/5A: they are widely sought after during production, and become classic prices after they are discontinued. All the way up, especially the Crown 1541 is even more difficult to find, and even a mysterious gray industry was born around the 1541 chip. Various polished/counterfeit versions of 1541 are emerging in an endless stream, which can be regarded as a big anecdote in the Hifi world!
