Hi Opera,
The GZ34 can replace the 5Z4P. In most cases, the GZ34 is a better rectifier tube; can operate with higher voltage and current.
Hope this help.

So is a direct replacement? Any harm to the power tubes?
Actually, my amp specs for the rectifier is 5U4G but don't why it came with 5Z4P when new.

Hi Opera,
The GZ34 is not a direct replacement for 5Z4P; or especially the 5U4G.
The 5U4G is a direct heated rectifier tube while the 5Z4P and the GZ34 is a indirect heated rectifier tube.
Among other things, the 'turn-on' time for the 5U4G will be shorter (about 3 sec) vs the GZ34 (about 10 sec)
while, using the GZ34 will yield a higher operating voltage. Apart from that, the 5U4G and the GZ34 will also
give the amp a different tone or sonic signature.
Without knowing the detail design, it is not easy to establish if it will damage the power tube; especially in the long term.(changing from 5U4G to either 5Z4P/GZ34).
Perhaps, check if anyone is using the same amp and has any comment/issue.
