Item: Triode Corporation Japan Tri TRV-4SE Vacuum Tube Preamplifier.

Rare triode tube preamplifier, finished in a gorgeous gloss red and silver aluminum.

The Triode Corporation was founded in 1995 by Junichi Yamazaki< It is a small Japanese company which, like Leben, has built a reputation for musicality and high build quality.
The TRV-4SE preamplifier is an all-tube piece with a moving magnet phono stage> it also has 4 line-level inputs, including front panel inputs, 3 line-level preamp outputs. The tube complement is 6 12AX7s and 2 5AR4 rectifier tubes. Sonically, the unit does lend some tube warmth, but it is less "plummy" and more detailed than, say, a Conrad-Johnson. the fit and finish of the unit is outstanding, and even the removable tube cage is substantial, and fits on the body with typical Japanese precision.

The condition of the unit is excellent, with no scratches or discolourations.
