Krell KAV 400xi Integrated Amplifier (SOLD)
This integrated amplifoer is silver color hairline stainless steel solid build case.
Condition : 8.5 /10
Item in very good condition, like new.
Reason to change: Change to smaller audition room, thus smaller headroom.
Description and Specification:
Solid-state, stereo integrated amplifier with five line-level inputs (1 balanced, 3 single-ended, 1 single-ended tape loop) and 1 set of single-ended preamplifier outputs.
Power output: 200Wpc into 8 ohms (23dBW), 400Wpc into 4 ohms (23dBW).
Power output: 200Wpc into 8 ohms, 400Wpc into 4 ohms.
Output impedance: 0.17 ohm.
Input impedance: 47k ohms.
Input sensitivity: 644mV RMS.
Power consumption at idle/standby: 20W.
Dimensions: 444mm W x 436mm D by 90mm H.
Weight: 16.4 kg
Made In USA
It comes with credit card size remote control.
Unopened envelope with quick setup guide, related with Krell literature.

She is one of the last few models that designed by Krell founder Dan D'Agostino before he left Krell in 2009.
If you have a warm and hard to drive speakers , <86dB sensitivity such as Sonus Faber, she could be a good match, with her powerful output of 200W @ 8 ohms and 400W @4 ohms can easily drive your speaker, generate a wide soundstage with details, exception accuracy, good tonality, well music separation between instruments (genres like Classical, Jazz in particular).
