The Akai 1722 II is a robustly constructed complete stereo tape recorder with built-in phono amplifier and large 5 x 7 inch speakers.

This model is equipped with a tape selection switch that facilitates the use of high-quality, long-range tape.

A new 3-way speaker switch (mute / record monitor, normal, PA) provides the correct signal output for private listening to headphones or monitoring during recording.

In keeping with Akai's policy of using top quality parts, the 1722 II features top quality parts, rugged construction and a sturdy mechanism. Our reliable two-lever control system provides even more durability
