Robertson Audio Forty Ten MK II Preamp and Poweramp Amplifier (Sold)

The FortyTen 2 preamp uses a Dual Mono design with independent power supplies for each channel, as well as independent power switches. In order to ensure a high degree of purity of the audio signal, the knobs of the pre-stage are as few as possible. Inside the equipment, special parts from Robertson Audio are used to improve the performance and reliability of the sound quality. The internal wiring is silver-plated wire, the insulator is Teflon, and all signal channels keep the shortest path.

The FortyTen 2 power amplifier is designed for Class AB, and the layout of the circuit also adopts dual mono mode and special parts from Robertson Audio. When the impedance of the speaker is 8 ohms, the output power per channel is 75Watt; when the impedance drops to 4 ohms, the output power is doubled to 145Watt. According to Mr. Chen, this is a very conservative figure, and it is hard to imagine that there is plenty of power in a flat case.
