Mint Singxer SDA-6 Pro DAC for sale. This DAC uses the AKM Velvet Sound DAC, the AK4499EQ which is the flagship successor to the AK4497 used in other high end audio equipment like the Cary Audio DMS600, Bryston BDA3 and earlier RME ADI-2 Pro prior to AKM factory fire forcing them to switch to ESS ( https://velvetsound.akm.com/us/en/stories/history/).

Singxer who is well known for the DDC have employed XMOS' latest XU208 USB chip together with a Xilinx FPGA and a Crystek CCHD-957 femto clock on the digital receiver section.
The analogue output stage is DC discrete Class A running in full balanced mode with Mundorf capacitors without negative feedback.

The power supply is full linear with an O type transformer and 20 groups of voltage stabilisers.

This DAC supports I2S input for Oppo owners who play SACD'S, USB and the usual AES/EBU, SPDIF and coax. Outputs include single ended and balanced. it also has a 10MHz input for external clocks ala dcs practice.

The AKM sound is highly neutral and in this implementation, utterly grain free which enables long hours of loud playback with zero fatigue. Unfortunately the AKM factory experienced a major fire in 2020 which disrupted the supply of their chips thus swinging the DAC market towards ESS chip implementation.
