KEF Reference Series 105.4 was introduced in response to the demand for a loudspeaker system with the performance of Model 105 but in a smaller package. This new system maintained the standards of design philosophy, and had the essence of the Model 105.2 sound – its tonal neutrality and pinpoint stereo imaging, but a slightly reduced bass response.

At any volume output up to concert hall level, the Reference Series 105.4 offered realistic and accurate reproduction of the input signal, and a remarkable stereo perspective at dynamic range.
