swing123 wrote:I have been monitoring the used hifi stuff on sales in Singapore forum and found that the prices for most items are really attractive. Leave aside comparing the conditions of the items, i just compared the price of same used items with roughly the same age that were posted in SG forum against what were asked here, and really worthwhile to get it across the causeway.

Having said that, I want to ask if anyone have the experience of bringing in used hifi stuff from SG and when kena spotted by our custom, any problem encountered? Can we print the For Sale posts in the forum to prove to them it's used items and thus, no need to pay tax?

Yes, if anyone know, please share. Prices in SG is indeed very attractive compared to Malaysia

190 lbs, 120 lbs, 50 lbs, total of 360 lbs/163kgs all arrive safely in KL via Fedex. All converted to 220-240 50hz. Duty was 15% + 10%. Saved a bundle. All units confirm working Smile
