Hi.

I am planning to reduce the echo sound of my room. Anyone can advice me where to buy these stuffs ? Something like sound absorbing and can be decorative as well (like the wallcovering or something cheper). Thanks

Hi,

I got mine (pix) from Center Audio Circle (Taman Tun) and Tong Lee, but they are not cheap. I think its cheaper to DIY, but then again it is hard to get the correct absorption properties from off the shelf materials or the thing becomes bulky or unsightly.

On the other hand, DIFFUSERS are easier to make by DIY since we want them reflective - using something hard like wood or plastic can do and its then a matter of 'shaping' them. But you will need some quantities. I have seen tiny DIY wooden 'boxes' hung from the ceiling to act as diffusers. Anyone else with experience pls share your ideas or your DIY projects. Regards.
