SONY launches Master Series Bravia TVs at Sony Expo 2018

KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 14): The Sony Expo 2018 took off today at the Mid Valley Megamall's Centre Court, with the launch of two statement TVs from Sony's Master Series of Bravia 4K HDR TVs - the A9F OLED and Z9F LCD.

The Master Series is the name Sony has designated for its highest picture quality TV sets, and both models feature the newly-developed, next-gen X1 Ultimate image processor that "intelligently detects and analyses each object in the picture through Sony's new object-based Super Resolution for exceptional accuracy and detail".

The Master Series also includes a "Netflix Calibrated Mode" to mirror the same studio quality as a studio evaluation master for television. The A9F also boast top-notch audio courtesy of the new Acoustic Surface Audio technology. More details can be found at the Sony website.

The A9F will be available in Malaysia from September but the Z9F will not be sold locally.

The KD-65A9F is priced at RM21,999 and the KD-55A9F at RM14,999. Pre-orders made until Sept 14 will get a free Glass Sound Speaker LSPX-S1 worth RM3,199.

The expo is on till Sunday (Aug 19th) and features various Sony product lines, including headphones, high-resolution audio, Playstation and cameras - specials discounts are being offered for the duration of the event.
