Reclocking the CD Player Empty Reclocking the CD Player

Post by mthoi Tue Jun 16, 2009 4:15 pm

I have read article extolling the benefits of reclocking CDPs. I have a older generation CDP and is keen to consider this upgrade (Superclock 4).

Anyone to share their experience in this area? Is there a local supplier of the Superclock 4?

Tx & reg.

Ensure your clock is 3ppm or less 1.5ps and less.

You dont have to spend big to get the figure above. Clock can easily be DIY too.

Check the frequency. What wire u want to use to connect?

Very well worth it if you go with the Vacuum state Superclock;which cost 6k and can be done by Octave Audio in PJ.

Have used a Monarchy Audio DIP (1st generation) reclocker ... it worked wonders on an old Denon CD player sounded better, but crapped out the sound from a Theta CD transport.
